This looks like early laps of the '55 race.

Taken from what appears to be entrance to Gasoline Alley in '53. People on their feet in the stands indicate it was very near the start of the race. Vukovich goes by in the background.

Vukovich is pushed out to the track in '54. Purpose of grill covering is probably to add heat to the engine on a cool day.

Vukovich pits in 1954. Vuky was was reported to have pitted too close to the wall preventing left front tire from being replaced. It did not make a difference as an extra stop was not needed.
